A discussion about the science behind peptides, strength, recovery & longevity: You’ve probably been hearing a lot about peptides lately. They’re showing up in conversations about muscle, metabolism, recovery, body composition, and longevity. But what are they actually doing in the body, and why is there so much interest in them?

If you’re someone who invests in Pilates, strength training, good nutrition, and taking care of your health, this is a conversation worth having.

Join Rachel Leigh at Axis Pilates as we explore the growing interest in peptides, how they work, and what the latest research tells us about their potential role in fitness, recovery, and healthy aging.

We’ll also talk about something that often gets overlooked in these conversations: the foundation. Your body still needs enough protein, proper nutrition, muscle-building exercise, good sleep, and healthy daily habits. Understanding how these pieces work together is just as important as understanding the latest tools.

We’ll cover what peptides are, which ones are being studied, where the science is promising, and what questions are worth asking before considering them.

Whether you’re navigating changes in hormones, working to maintain muscle, improving mobility, recovering from an injury, or simply interested in what’s next in health and wellness, we’ll connect the science to the things you’re already doing to take care of yourself.

This is not medical advice. Some peptides are investigational, and a licensed medical provider determines whether any treatment is appropriate.
