FASCIA IN MOTION – Workshop

Two Workshops for Movement Professionals

When: Friday, October 23 / Where: Axis Pilates (1138 e. 6th Ave. Denver)
Cost: $40 one workshop | $65 both

Join FAMO Fascia Movement Educator Aimee Baker for an experiential introduction to two foundational areas of FAMO. Each workshop combines understanding fascia and anatomy theory with embodying those concepts through FAMO movement practice—connecting what we know about the body with what we can actually feel and experience in movement.

Designed for Pilates instructors, movement teachers, bodyworkers, and other movement professionals, these workshops offer practical ways to expand how you understand and experience movement in your own body and in your work with clients.

WORKSHOP 1 — ANATOMY TRAINS IN MOTION (12:30–1:45 PM)

Move beyond thinking about muscles in isolation and begin exploring the body through myofascial connections

You’ll explore:

  • The Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridian Body Map
  • Myofascial connections through movement
  • How movement in one area can influence another
  • A whole-body lens for understanding and observing movement

WORKSHOP 2 — FASCIA IN FOCUS (2:00–3:15 PM)

What if movement needs more than simply more strength, flexibility, mobility, or release?

You’ll explore:

  • Key concepts in fascia theory
  • Several of the 12 Fascia Movement Qualities
  • How different movement qualities feel and express themselves in the body
  • How the Fascia Movement Qualities can inform the way you understand and execute movement
TAKE ONE OR BOTH: Come for the topic that interests you most—or stay for both and experience how anatomy, fascia theory, and embodied FAMO practice come together.

Anatomy Trains in Motion and Fascia in Focus are the two entry courses in the 4-course FAMO certification pathway, but you do not need to be pursuing certification to attend.

Upcoming Full Trainings with Aimee:

Fascia in Focus · December 4–6
